Otis Elevator Company have designed, built and installed elevators and escalators in some of the world's most iconic buildings, from the Eiffel Tower to the Burj Khalifa. Whilst working with Otis I spent six months at the company's headquarters in Connecticut, working in their offices, primarily on the UX and UI of their main global website, Otis.com.

A project which evolved from one of my initial homepage concepts for Otis.com was a digital pitch presentation in the form of a microsite. Otis wanted something that demonstrated efficiently and effectively to potential clients what they were capable of; a pitch proposal that set them apart from their competitors. With very few adjustments, considering the change in direction, the homepage-turned-pitch-presentation did just that – it positioned Otis ahead of their peers, presenting them not only historically as the inventors of the elevator, but also as modern day thought leaders in the development of people moving technology.
